Privacy policy
This policy explains what Kapwa (kapwa.clothing) collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Questions go to hello@kapwa.clothing.
What we collect
When you browse: the pages and products you view, items you add to your cart, when you start checkout, your IP address, your browser and device type, and identifiers stored in cookies. Most of this is collected through Meta's pixel on our site and sent to Meta, from your browser and from our server (Meta's Conversions API).
When you buy: checkout runs on Fourthwall, our commerce provider, at checkout.kapwa.clothing. It collects your name, email address, shipping address, order details and payment information to process and deliver your order, on our behalf. We never receive your full card details.
When you sign up for emails: your email address, that you ticked the consent box (with the wording and the time), the brand and the page you signed up from. Nothing else.
When you browse, our host also counts visits and measures page speed (Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights). These use no cookies and keep no personal profile: they record the page, the referring site, country, and browser and device type, in aggregate.
When you email us: your email address and what you write.
Cookies
Necessary cookies keep your cart and remember your cookie choice. They don't follow you to other sites.
Marketing cookies from Meta (such as _fbp and _fbc) connect visits to our site with our ads on Facebook and Instagram, so we can see which ads work. In the UK, the EU, the EEA and Switzerland they are only set if you accept them.
How we use it
To process, deliver and support your orders; to email you, if you signed up, when new tees land; to measure and improve our advertising and the site; and to keep the site working and secure.
Who we share it with
Meta, to measure and improve our ads. Meta's own use of this information is covered by its privacy policy.
Fourthwall, which runs our checkout, payments, fulfilment and order emails.
Vercel, which hosts this site, processes request data such as IP addresses to deliver pages, stores email sign-ups privately on our behalf, and provides our cookieless visit and speed measurement.
We don't sell your personal information for money. Some US state laws treat sharing browsing information with an ad platform as "sharing" or "targeted advertising". You can opt out as described below.
Your choices
Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out of sharing and targeted advertising. Meta's pixel doesn't load, and nothing about your visit is sent to Meta from our site.
UK, EU, EEA and Switzerland: we ask before setting marketing cookies. Change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
Do Not Track: there is no agreed standard for the Do Not Track browser setting, so we don't respond to it. We honor Global Privacy Control instead.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser, and control how Meta uses your activity for ads in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
Emails: every email we send has an unsubscribe link, or email hello@kapwa.clothing and we'll remove your address.
To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email hello@kapwa.clothing.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as we need them to fulfil and support orders and to meet tax and accounting rules. An email sign-up is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Your cookie choice is remembered for 180 days.
Children
Our store isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
